Sodalities provides the infrastructure (the "Platform") for creators and Key Opinion Leaders ("KOLs") to build independent digital societies. Sodalities is not a content publisher or a party to the transactions between Creators and Fans. Our role is strictly limited to providing the software, hosting, and payment processing facilitation—similar to a "Shopify" for digital communities.

• The Creator's Business: Creators own their brand, their content, and their fan relationships.
• Data Sovereignty: Sodalities allows Creators to export their fan lists and engagement data at any time. We do not "lock" your business to our platform.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. We recommend enabling Biometric Authentication (FaceID/Fingerprint) within the Sodalities mobile app.

As a provider of User-Generated Content (UGC) services, we maintain a Zero Tolerance policy for illegal content.

• Moderation: Creators are responsible for moderating their own "Sodality." However, Sodalities reserves the right to remove content or ban accounts that violate international law or our Safety Guidelines.
• Reporting: All users have access to "Report" and "Block" tools. Sodalities commits to reviewing reports of objectionable content within 24 hours.

• Transaction Fees: Sodalities charges a flat subscription fee and/or a percentage "Application Fee" (e.g., 2%) on all transactions. This fee covers platform maintenance and development.
• Direct Merchant Relationship: When a Fan subscribes to a Creator, the legal contract is between the Fan and the Creator. Payments are processed via Stripe Connect.
• No "Success Tax": Unlike other platforms that take 20%, Sodalities focuses on a low-fee model to ensure Creators keep the majority of their revenue.

• All Sales are Final: Because Sodalities provides immediate access to digital content and community features, all purchases are non-refundable by default.
• Creator Responsibility: If a Creator chooses to issue a refund, the money will be deducted from the Creator’s Stripe balance. Sodalities is not responsible for refunding its platform fees or Stripe's processing fees.
• Chargeback Protection: In the event of a bank dispute (chargeback), Sodalities will provide the Creator with activity logs (IP addresses, login times, content accessed) to defend the transaction. Fraudulent chargebacks will result in a permanent ban of the Fan’s account.

• Holding Period: To protect the platform and the Creator from fraud, funds may be held in a "Pending" status for a period of 7 to 14 days before they are available for withdrawal to the Creator’s bank account.
• Risk Reserves: Sodalities reserves the right to hold a percentage of earnings in a "Reserve Fund" if a Creator’s account shows a high rate of disputes or suspicious activity.

Sodalities is a software service. We are not liable for any loss of revenue, data, or reputation resulting from the use of our platform or the actions of users within a specific "Sodality."
